Experiential Learning Activities for Prisoners and Offenders

How can MTa Learning help in prisons?

Equipping prisoners with the skills and attitudes they need to enter employment and cope with life’s challenges is a vital part of any rehabilitation programme. In many cases, offenders lack the confidence and skills required to work effectively in teams. Perhaps they have not had the chance to be a leader and don’t appreciate their own strengths and capabilities. MTa’s experiential learning tools can help by providing prisoners with an opportunity work in teams, build confidence, identify their strengths and develop the skills they need to be successful in the workplace. MTa’s learning activities also encourage prisoners to leave their cells and count towards ‘productive time’.
