Who will find the workshops useful?
The curious trainer: Learn more about MTa training materials and experiential learning in the workplace. The workshop is a chance to gain hands on experience using the materials, and discuss and develop your ideas with Martin and other L&D professionals. The user of MTa materials: Learn how to use your MTa training materials effectively and maximise the learning potential of the activities. Through experiential activities Martin will share his expertise and knowledge. Our materials are used in all sectors, and our workshops reflect this mix. We usually attract a healthy mix of training and development professionals, consultants, university lecturers, teachers and freelance trainers. |

What is the workshop programme?
Morning In the morning Martin will run and facilitate a series of engaging and thought provoking activities giving you an appreciation of the principles and concepts behind our approach to experiential learning. Along the way Martin will aim to share with you some knowledge and experience he has gained in 30 years as a facilitator. We will take you through our 'Learning Arena' reinforcing and demonstrate techniques that you can apply to develop your participants learning. We hope that the morning will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to get started with our materials. |
Afternoon There is no set programme to the afternoon as the agenda varies depending on the interests and needs of the participants. We often split into smaller groups to cover as many areas of interest as possible. Areas we could look at in more detail include:
