Who will find the workshops useful?

The curious trainer:

Learn more about MTa training materials and experiential learning in the workplace. The workshop is a chance to gain hands on experience using the materials, and discuss and develop your ideas with Martin and other L&D professionals.

The user of MTa materials:

Learn how to use your MTa training materials effectively and maximise the learning potential of the activities. Through experiential activities Martin will share his expertise and knowledge.

Our materials are used in all sectors, and our workshops reflect this mix. We usually attract a healthy mix of training and development professionals, consultants, university lecturers, teachers and freelance trainers.

What is the workshop programme?

In the morning we will run and facilitate a series of engaging and thought provoking activities giving you an appreciation of the principles and concepts behind our approach to experiential learning. Along the way we aim to share with you some of the knowledge and experience MTa have gained over the last 30 years.

We will take you through our 'Learning Arena' reinforcing and demonstrate techniques that you can apply to develop your participants learning.

We hope that the morning will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to get started with our materials.

There is no set programme to the afternoon as the agenda varies depending on the interests and needs of the participants. We often split into smaller groups to cover as many areas of interest as possible. Areas we could look at in more detail include:

  • Team development & team skills
  • Leadership
  • Coaching skills
  • Problem solving
  • Communication
  • Assessment
  • Lean processing.

What have some of our clients said about our workshops?

"A great opportunity to see an excellent trainer deliver a superb session with brilliant resources. It will leave you with a clear idea of how to plan and deliver session using MTa Products"

Rob Lancaster - Outstanding Events

I found the one day workshop excellent fun, a very relaxed day structured to peoples needs with no hard sell, in fact there was no selling involved.
I was amazed at the amount of advice and training given. Martin was all give, certainly giving away a lot more than he needed to, laid back but oozing with enthusiasm.

This day is a must for anyone looking at buying the kit, or who already has the kit, there is so much extra to learn.

Andy Bond - Hydroactive

I would like to say a big thank you for a great experience yesterday.
I got so much from the day that I look forward to putting it all to good use in the near future. I could not think of a more successful way of inspiring us to realise how we can best help others to help themselves along the path of personal development.

John Britton - cdql International
